" ART FOR AUTISM SPEAKS "

We had a big shipping crate from our cutting machine that we have at work, they were about to toss it out til' I decided to make something out this good ply wood.
So,I asked the guys from our shop to cut them out in shapes of the "AUTISM SPEAKS" logo.
My goal is to have different artists from all backgrounds ;graffiti artist, graphic designers, painters, etc...who are willing to donate some of their God-given talent for a good cause.
I'm still trying to find a location in where I'm going to have the show at... but for now I'm on the hunt for fresh talent. Who's interested?! I'm limited on the boards, so get them while I have them. It's up to the artist how much of the donation he/she would like to give.
Please get in contact me if you want to join the show.
THANKS!

Here's a sketch I did for a "Nursery Rhyme Theme" for our Sketch Up fridays at work.
It's my take on the "Jack and The Bean Stalk" Story.
Most likely it'll be a painting. I'll post up more photos soon!
Enjoy!

BIC BUDDY X BIC PLASTICS X MARKA27 X JASPER SANTOS

BIC BUDDY BEFORE...
A good friend of mine, MARKA27 is coming out with his new vinyl figure and asked me if I wanted to be a part of the show, and I said FO SHO!
This is my first vinyl toy I've ever customised.
I was kinda scared of what to do with it at first.
When I first got my BIC BUDDY out of the box, I was messing with it's arm and I accidentally broke it off! So, I had to make my own arm with armature wire and an industrial glue gun, heavy duty stuff! I liked how it came out so I went ahead and broke off the other arm and it was all down hill from there. Here's how my BIC BUDDY looks like as of now,
I still have to paint his eye's and teeth.

Last painting before 2009 ends!

One more for 2009... I was asked to paint inside our work office@ SPIN MASTER INC. - Los Angeles. So I had this idea in mind for a while so I finally got to paint it. Having to live in Pasadena and work at Culver City, I always get to drive thru Down Town LA, and I just love the skyline view of it. I'm thinking of making a series of these on canvas of different cities.
Someday...
